Les is a former Fulham captain who played over 400 times for the club. He was part of the team that went on an amazing 11 game FA Cup run all the way to the Final in 1975. His team-mates included Rights Highway Sport’s Alan Mullery and legendary England World Cup hero Bobby Moore. Unfortunately, Les missed the Final through injury but in light of his stirring contribution to Fulham’s epic journey to Wembley, the FA took pity on Les and awarded him an honoury medal. Unfortunately it was a losers’ medal because Fulham fell at the last hurdle, when West Ham beat them 2-0. But tales of that amazing Cup run, plus incredible memories of playing alongside Georgie Best and many more, keep fans happily entertained at Craven Cottage, where Les is a popular member of the matchday hospitality team. He is also an excellent after dinner speaker at corporate and sporting events.
